Shwetha vanished from Kollywood after playing the sister`s role in the dud flick 'Aazhwar' Not losing heart, she acted in 'Valluvan Vasuki' as the female lead which again didn't do well at the box officebut was remembered for her role in the film.
She continued her tinsel town journey entering Tollywood where she debuted as heroine in a film opposite Jayanth, son of veteran Tamil & Telugu actor Banuchander. Making her comeback inKollywood now has handful of projects in Tamil and is very happy about the same.
She is playing the leading role in 'Kottanjoru' opposite Ajay Kumar directed by Anbu Saravanan. She is also playing opposite Arvind Krishnan in a film titled 'Naanum En Kaadhalum' and as a village girl in Manisekhar's 'Kallupatti'
She says that wearing figure hugging outfits is an essential quality of the acting process and is very much ready for the glam show if the script demands.
